Hi, I’m Ashley.
I’ve spent my entire life incurably curious.
As a child, I felt deeply. I found comfort in quiet alone, nature, music, and animals more easily than I did in groups of people. I was the observer, the sensitive one, endlessly curious about life and the mysteries woven through it. Looking back, I can see that the unseen world was always speaking to me--Knowing, seeing hearing and feeling beyond my physical world. I just didn’t yet have the language to understand it.
Music became my first language.
I went on to study classical voice and earned a diploma in Theatre Arts before spending the next decade as a professional stage actress. The theatre gave me something I desperately needed: a place where sensitivity wasn’t something to hide. It taught me presence, deep listening, and the profound privilege of witnessing the human experience. Those lessons continue to shape everything I do today.
Then I became a mother.
Motherhood changed everything.
When my eldest daughter began having spiritual senses at 2 years old and experiences that couldn’t be explained, I was gently invited into a world I had quietly sensed all along. What began as a desire to understand and support her became a decade-long journey of studying mediumship, consciousness, spiritual traditions, healing, psychology, symbolism, shamanism, quantum physics and the remarkable ways love continues to connect us. Collecting the wonder and miraculous sprinkled through the mundane.
Today, I’m a Trained Ethical Medium , a Reiki Master, Channel, Circle leader, and the host of The Lilac Podcast. While my work has been informed by many teachers and traditions, I don’t fit neatly into any one box—and I’ve come to see that as a gift...I remain, above all else, a student.
People often come to me seeking a connection with loved ones in spirit or to be a mirror to their soul.
What I hope they leave with is something even deeper.
A remembrance of themselves.
Over the years, I’ve come to understand that mediumship isn’t only about communicating with the unseen. It’s about helping people reconnect—with love, with meaning, with wonder, with the wisdom of their own soul, and with the quiet knowing that they are never truly alone.
I was born and raised in Summerland, British Columbia— a place whose name has long carried beautiful associations with peace, hope, and the continuation of life. In Spiritualism Summerland is referred to as "heaven ". I’ve always found that synchronicity quietly meaningful. Whether I’m holding space in a reading, guiding a meditation, gathering women in circle, or sharing conversations through my podcast, my intention is the same: to create a sanctuary where people can come home to themselves.
My work lives at the intersection of the deeply human and the quietly sacred.
I believe healing happens through presence more than perfection.
I believe curiosity is a spiritual practice.
I believe nature is one of our greatest teachers.
I believe grief and joy belong at the same table.
I believe the unseen world continually invites us toward greater compassion, not fear.
And I believe that remembering who we are may be the most important journey we ever take.
